It produces electric water heater and other kitchen appliance as well, such as sterilizer, cooker hood, etc. Vanward has 6 manufacturing bases in Zhongshan and Foshan city. It has the area of 1500000 square meters, with the annual production capacity of 15 million pieces. Besides manufacturing Gas appliance, which is its main business, Vanward also participates in other business as finance, car component production and education. It is one of the founders of Minsheng Bank. Now, Vanward owns 3 exclusively-invested enterprises,3 holding enterprises and 2 sharing enterprises, with the permanent assets of 1.5 billion RMB

Technical creation is the soul that leads Vanward to develop. In 1992, Vanward invented the first flue pipe gas water heater in China as its beginning, which leads the water heater age of 'When the water top is on, hot water comes out' This kind of water heater was put into the project of 'National Star project'. Vanward developed the first microcomputer controlling forced exhaust type water heater in 1994, and the first forced exhaust & air supply type in 1999, and the first condensing water heater in 2001. Till now, Vanward has already fill the domestic technical blank in the gas water field ten times. In the aspect of energy saving, Vanward keeps the record of the highest efficiency of 70% for gas stove and 107% for gas water heater. Besides, Vanward also takes part in the work making the Chinese Standard for gas water heater and sterilizer. Vanward gained more than 100 patents for gas water heater, gas stove, sterilizer, cooker hood, electric water heater etc.   

For the product quality controlling, as the unique 'China Space Partner' and 'China Space Sponsor' in gas appliances industry, Vanward take the 'Space Flight Quality' as her target quality standard. Early in 1996, all Vanward’s products passed ISO9001 as the first enterprise in this field. In October 2000, Vanward sterilizer was appointed to be product in 'Healthy Golden Project'. In the same year, Vanward was honored '2000 Outstanding Enterprise Of Quality Management' by National Quality Technical Supervise Department. In August 2003, Vanward’s product first got Chinese CGC certificate for gas appliance in this field. In the same year, Vanward was approved as directing enterprise in Chinese Hardware Association and vise president in Chinese quality test association. On June 1st 2006, Vanward was awarded' China Well-Known Trademark'. In July 2006, our gas water heater, sterilizer were named 'China Symbol Brand'. In June 2007, our gas appliances, electric water heater, sterilizer and cooker hood were named as 'China Space Exclusive Product' .Further more, our gas water heater, gas stove, electric water heater and sterilizer were named 'China Top Brand '. Generally speaking, Vanward owns the most 'China Top Brand' in gas appliances field.
